Kali is a Filipino martial arts style that utilizes blades, knives, sticks and improvised weapons for a complete combat and self-defense training. This complete weapons-based was developed throughout the centuries to mix traditional and modern fighting styles.
Kali knife fighting drills are repeated in a complex array of attacks and counter-attacks to develop the student's reflexes and muscle memory. A student attacks while the other returns the attack and then the former defends and returns with a counter-attack, and vice versa.
